40 Highway though Arkansas

by Keith.

Last week I drove to Little Rock for a meeting.

Something I love about being on the road is getting a sense of space. It’s easy to build a mental fence around a city and to keep our thoughts inside, locked up tight. When you’re on the road though, your mind has room to roam.

I have a bad habit of taking pictures while driving. I really do try to keep it as safe as possible. That’s one reason I love my x100, it’s so easy to see everything else around me. I also know the camera so well by feel that I can shoot without looking with fairly good accuracy… but then again, that’s like saying the same about a shotgun sometimes. #wideangle

All of these photos were taken from the driver seat of my car. Ladies and gentlemen, don’t try this at home.

I should also add that there is something really beautiful about Arkansas. Now, I know that we are new rivals (Mizzou and Arkansas), but both times I’ve driven through, I’ve been really impressed with the natural beauty of the state.
